We're now looking at the season about change and so we're ending summer consignment today and looking for fall/winter gear and clothing. We already have so much great inventory we can't wait to get out on the floor mid-September and looking forward to seeing what you'll bring in! Stop by anytime we have our doors open for consignment.

Our friends down at Roanoke Mountain Adventure are having a grand opening in their new space Sept 4th!

Set for a Sept. 4th grand opening, the new space is about triple what RMA has at its current location near the Wasena Tap room.

In 2008, we met while backpacking through Argentina.

Over the years, we've shared adventures across countries, seasons, and landscapes... from Brazil's coastline to the mountains of the Shenandoah Valley. Along the way, we discovered that the best adventures often begin with something that's shared.

Outsider grew from the exchange of stories, experiences, and gear.

We believe that when great gear keeps moving, more people get the chance to get outside.

On Saturday, August 8, we'll open our doors.

If you're in Harrisonburg, we'd love for you to stop by, say hello, explore the shop, and celebrate this milestone with us. We'll have snacks, bubbles for the kids, and lots of outdoor gear waiting to be explored.
