A interesting collectible that may have a small market. Still find another one.

Front inside endpapers have wear, shown. No loose or missing pages. Wear to bottom page edges. Top is covered with gold gilding, also shows wear. No indication to think otherwise. No dust jacket and no reason to believe it didn't have one.

Nice book about crows and jays from popular series from Houghton Mifflin. Good (G): A sound copy with all pages present and intact, but with noticeable wear and potential defects like a worn dust jacket.

This makes book seem heavier than a similar sized book. Not a field guide but instead a distribution analysis of the 650 or so birds that might be seen. Outstanding reference on the subject. Color photos of the various habitat sites.

Color plate at front is the only color inside. A comprehensive look at this specific region in New Jersey.

B&W illustrations thru-out. Also 8 B&W photographic plates. End papers decorated with map of region. Second printing. The author was vice president of the New York Entomological Society in 1936, then President the following year.

About 125 pages dealing with Birds and Mammals of the Pribilof Islands. Inside clean and nice. Very Good (VG): Shows signs of light use but is still a clean and attractive copy. As New (AN): The book is in perfect condition, appearing unread and unused.
