MadJax Maker Force & The People’s Marketplace Inc. Announce Maker to Market Accelerator.
HARTFORD CITY & MUNCIE, IN — August 2026 — MadJax Maker Force and The People’s Marketplace Inc. are partnering to help makers, artists, entrepreneurs, and small manufacturers turn ideas into sustainable businesses.
The Maker to Market Accelerator will offer business training, technical assistance, and hands-on retail experience, helping participants bring products directly to customers. The six-month pilot will serve up to 20 makers in Blackford and Delaware Counties.
FROM MAKER TO MARKET
Many makers don’t struggle with product creation—they struggle with access to resources, markets, and customers.
MadJax Maker Force provides entrepreneurship support and education, while The People’s Marketplace Inc. in Hartford City offers a real-world retail space to test and sell products. Participants will also have opportunities to showcase at regional markets, including the Muncie Makers Market.
SUPPORTING TWO COUNTIES
This partnership connects Blackford and Delaware Counties, strengthening the regional maker ecosystem.
Opened in April 2026 inside the Historic Newberry Building, The People’s Marketplace Inc. supports local makers and helps revitalize downtown Hartford City through affordable retail space.
APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
Makers, artists, entrepreneurs, and small manufacturers in both counties are encouraged to apply.
