What is Salt Magick?
Salt has been a very important part of Pagan ritual and folklore tradition for thousands of years. Because of its high value and importance within ancient societies, it has long been a tool in magical rituals, spells, & rites.
As a tool, it is often used to cast a circle as it creates a powerful barrier that shields and protects you while you are working magick; a time during when a witch is both at her/his most powerful consecration.
We use salt to represent the element of Earth on an altar.
Salt is used in banishing, binding, cleaning, grounding, healing, purification & protection magick as well as for blessings and consecrations. Different types of salt may have additional magickal properties & as such one Salt may be more suited to the particular magick you are working than another.
We are now selling vials of salt! We have five different types to choose from, all with their own magickal and healing properties. They're the perfect little guys for your altar, or for on the go practice!
