Trigger Warning: Pregnancy Loss

Today is always a hard day to come to terms with.

A couple days ago (on the 8th) would have been our little girl’s 13th birthday. A teenager!

We never got to meet her, but not a day goes by that I don’t think about who she might have been. 💜

Pregnancy loss isn’t something people talk about often.

It’s spoken about more now than it used to be, but it’s still one of those quiet, heavy griefs that too many of us carry alone.

The truth is—there are no perfect words, no actions that make it easier. It’s just hard.

To anyone who has experienced pregnancy loss or is walking through infertility: please know you are not alone.

Your pain is real, your grief is valid, and it matters.

Even if the world doesn’t always acknowledge it, your loss is significant.

Today, I hold space for our daughter, the 3 babies we lost before her, and for every parent carrying love in their heart for a child they didn’t get to meet. You are seen. You are not alone. 🤍

This was so much more than a soccer game.

For the first time, we were the one asking questions and Chase was the one explaining everything. He was completely in his element.

It hit me that I was watching him love something that was entirely HIS.
Not something I picked.
Not something that his father picked.
Not something I taught him.
Not a concert that we all wanted to go to.
Something he found for himself.

Watching your kid grow up is bittersweet. Watching them become their own person is magic.
