WHAT IS THE PINK PUMPKIN RUN?

The Pink Pumpkin Run has grown into so much more than a 5K or a walk.

This organization is brought to life by a group of women who believe in being there for others. Throughout the year, we join forces to help, listen and encourage those affected by breast cancer in whatever ways we can.

For 12 years, we have assisted individuals and families across Washington and Dodge Counties with gas, groceries, restaurant gift cards and cleaning services — helping lighten the load during one of life’s most difficult seasons.

And our mission continues throughout the year. We host a monthly support group that offers a place to connect, share, listen and find encouragement.

THEN, ONCE A YEAR, OUR COMMUNITY COMES TOGETHER AND MAKES THAT SUPPORT VISIBLE!

We wear pink. We celebrate survivors, stand with those still fighting, and honor the memories of those we have lost. Most importantly, we remind those affected by breast cancer that they don’t have to face it alone.

After 13 years, all the fabric has found new homes, my scissors need a break (so does my shoulder 😩), and the shop has officially closed its doors. 🥺

To my wonderful customers—THANK YOU! ❤️
Thank you for the laughs, the stories, the shopping sprees, and for making this little shop such a special place.

You were never just customers… you were my quilty family. 🥰

Now go home, finish those UFOs, use the fabric you already have (or don’t 😉), and keep creating beautiful things!
