Thanksgiving is about more than just food. It's about love, kindness, togetherness, and making sure everyone knows they matter. ❤️

We invite you to come inside, sit down, enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal, and fellowship with us. If you prefer to grab a meal and head home to relax, that's perfectly fine too! Our goal is to make sure everyone has a meal and feels welcomed.

But our giving doesn't stop at our doors! ❤️ We will also be going out into our community to serve our brothers and sisters who are experiencing homelessness, making sure they receive a warm meal and a little extra love.

We want everyone to know that they are seen, they are loved, and most importantly, THEY MATTER! ❤️

No matter your circumstances, everyone deserves kindness, compassion, and a seat at the table.

❤️ A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing Donors! ❤️

With the rising cost of food and everyday living expenses, we know that many families are struggling to make ends meet. Here at the Wilson-Gray YMCA, we are blessed to receive donations that allow us to lend a helping hand to our members, families, and even our employees who may be going through difficult times.

That's why these donations mean so much. They are more than just food or everyday essentials. They are a reminder that someone cares, that our community is looking out for one another, and that no one has to feel alone during difficult times.

To ALL of our wonderful donors, we truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness, generosity, and willingness to give make a difference in the lives of so many people.

Four of our teens recently completed a Babysitter Training Course, gaining valuable skills in child safety, emergency response, leadership, and responsible caregiving.

Programs like this help prepare young people for employment opportunities while building confidence, responsibility, and life skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

A special thank you to Stacey Epps and Connecticut Children's for investing in our youth and providing this valuable opportunity. Your time, expertise, and commitment helped equip our teens with skills they can use for years to come.

We are proud of these young leaders and look forward to seeing how they put what they've learned into action!

🏆🏀 THAT’S A WRAP ON ANOTHER INCREDIBLE ONE! 🏀🏆
The second annual 2026 Wilson-Gray James Green Foundation Basketball Tournament is officially in the books and what a tournament it was!

To every player who showed up and stepped onto the court, competed with heart, showed sportsmanship, and gave it everything they had: THANK YOU! You made this tournament what it is. To everyone who came out to cheer, support, laugh, celebrate, and be part of the day: we appreciate you more than you know! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers, staff, and everyone behind the scenes who poured their time, energy, and passion into bringing this event to life. None of this happens without you, and we are incredibly grateful. 🙏🏾

Most importantly, together we were able to raise over $5,000 for the Livestrong program, making an impact beyond the basketball court and continuing to support people who are effected by cancer and providing a village they can lean on.

This tournament is also about honoring the legacy of James Green. Remembering him and carrying that legacy forward through community, competition, and giving back. His spirit was felt throughout the entire day. 🤍

And now… let’s talk CHAMPIONS. 🏆

For the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, THE BELTS have held on to their title! 🥇🔥
THE BELTS ARE THE 2026 CHAMPIONS AND THEY REMAIN UNDEFEATED!
