Nurses are special people. They give and give and give, and many of us myself included have a hard time receiving and accepting in return. My desire of this post is to send all my nurse sisters and brothers a wish and prayer of hope, healing and a rebirth of love not only for yourselves but for that passion of nursing I know still burns in many, not all, but I believe most of us during these challenging times. We can make nursing JUST again. It’s a cause worth fighting for. 🌎❤️🙏🏼💪🏽👩🏽‍⚕️👨🏼‍⚕️

40! And killing the nurse life just like I always dreamed I would. Still got goals to reach and I will! This is a reminder to anyone out there feeling beat down by life and that you will never get to where you want to be! You will, just never give up no matter how hard it gets. Rest when you need too, but promise yourself you WILL get back up! My patients and my work are my therapy these days. That’s how I know I was made to be a nurse. 🙏🏼

Little celebration pic from Cinco De Mayo 🇲🇽 , but more importantly today’s I started my 1 of the 4 classes I have left😱. That’s right only 4 classes left. Critical care is the top of the mountain then a community project and pretty much sledding down hill after that. I can finally see the end of this path in the distance. It’s been exhausting, gut wrenching, and did I say exhausting, and even unsurmountable at times. But I am here doing it! And you 👋 can too!!! Just keep going...never give up your goals and dreams 🌈 Thank you 🙏🏼😘to all my supporters. Everyone along the way that has had to deal with my short comings, my unavailability, s**t my attitude! Thank you! My success are just as much yours as they are mine! 🙏🏼. Here’s to being the first in my family to graduate with a bachelors degree! Maria Sabarese ,RN coming right up!!! In Racine Wisconsin spending a blessed day with genuine friends. As I get older I realize more and more the value of time spent with good people, people who share in open honest conversation. Even if you may not be in a positive space at the time. There is something to be said about people who are willing to truly share themselves with you. I plan to cultivate this in my son. That being real and authentic with people you love is beautiful and gives us hope in ourselves and each other.
