📚 Back to school might be here, but the garden didn’t get the memo! 😂🌱

While the kids are heading back to the classroom, we’re still out here in the garden working hard to keep the fresh veggies coming for YOU! 🥕🍅🥒

I had plans for those potatoes. 😂

When my CSA delivery from Stone Quality Produce came this week, I was absolutely going to make potato soup with them. And honestly, I probably still will.

But then I woke up this morning hungry for a big, hearty breakfast and those potatoes started looking less like soup and more like breakfast.

So I chopped up some of the potatoes, sweet baby peppers and onion from this week's Stone Quality Produce delivery and sautéed everything together until the potatoes were crispy and the peppers and onions had those wonderful browned edges.

Then I topped it with an egg from Reyes Farm Stand and added some pickled jalapeños and pickled onions that I made from produce from a previous Stone Quality Produce delivery.

Everything on my plate except the sausage was local.

I love that.

I love getting my CSA delivery and then figuring out what I'm going to do with everything. Sometimes I have a plan. Sometimes the plan changes because I'm hungry. 😂 And sometimes something from one week's delivery gets pickled and ends up making an appearance on a plate weeks later.

There is just something really satisfying about knowing where your food came from and being able to say that almost an entire breakfast came from people growing and producing food right here in our area.

The potato soup can wait. Breakfast won this round. 😂❤️

🚨 WE’VE LOST CONTROL OF THE ACCOUNT. 🚨😂

The high school boys had an idea for a reel… and somehow that turned into them taking over the Stone Quality Produce marketing department. 🤦‍♀️

We’re not saying they’re fired… but we’re also not saying they’re getting paid. 😂

Anyway, before they get any more ideas, here’s the important part:

🌱 Tuesday Market Night! 🌱

We’ll be at Henderson from 5–7 PM and Geneva from 5–6 PM tonight! 🥕🥬🍅

Tonight will be our last market in Henderson, and we just want to say THANK YOU! ❤️ We’ve loved meeting so many wonderful people in the community and sharing our fresh, locally grown produce with you.

🥗 Fresh from SQP to the dinner table!

This weekend we made a Pearl Couscous Salad with Beans, and it was SO delicious! 😋

We love finding new ways to use the fresh produce we grow here at Stone Quality Produce, and this recipe was a winner! 🌱

We finished the entire bowl in ONE day… so I’d say it was a hit! 😂

Definitely adding this one to our “make again” list! 💚
