I have been putting this off for a while now but I think it’s time. Bills Surf and Tackle of Harvey Cedars closed its doors in January 2018. It wasn’t something I planned on, but I was not able to secure a practical lease on the property. My rent was raised to an amount that I thought was not sustainable all year round for my seasonal business, and it was non negotiable. So I decided to do what was best for myself and my family. We packed up the shop and moved on. I have been looking for another location and I found a few spots that would work. But I decided that Bills Surf And Tackle would remain an online business through Amazon Marketplace, rather than a retail shop on LBI, (for now). When things change and I have a location I will let everyone know. But for now head up to Vans Boat Rentals in Barnegat Light for all of your bait and tackle needs. They are under new ownership, and will have a killer tackle shop.
