This honeybee behavior is known as “washboarding”. The bees rock back and forth while also making contact with their tongues/mouths on the surface. It is an unexplained behavior but many people seem to think they do this to keep the hive clean. It’s pretty neat to watch! 🐝

It’s been ages since I’ve posted anything! We’re rebounding/rebuilding from tough losses over the winter but we’re alive and well and still having a blast! Today was a beautiful morning to spend with bees. ♥️🐝

Our felted soaps make great gifts! We take our popular soap bars and wrap them in alpaca “wool” rovings. I chose alpaca for its softness, its natural antibacterial qualities, and its ability to gently exfoliate. Felted soap eliminates the need for a washcloth or loofah. These bars are also great to keep at a hand sink for cleaning garden hands. It also extends the life of the soap, it’s a win win! 😉 You can order them via Etsy or shoot me a message if you’re local!

The new dish soap blocks are just about ready for purchase! They’ll be available in the following scents:
•Cedar 🍂
•Lavender Mint 🌱
•Lemongrass 🍋
I’ll also have a variety of dish brushes and sponges available to pair with your soap. I’m working on a tray or dish to offer with it as well.
*I don’t have a dishwasher and I’ve been using this since I made it. I absolutely love it. I can tell it’s going to last a very long time and it cleans and lathers. I also love the brush I’m using with it! (I use the brush pictured.)

I realized it’s been over a month since I’ve posted...a break from social media sure does a body good. I’m here because we have a new product! I’ve been wanting to make a dish soap bar for quite a while and it’s finally happening! I don’t know about you, but the thought of ditching those plastic containers of liquid dish soap make me warm and fuzzy inside. They’ll be available in a few short weeks and I’ll post again when they’re ready! I hope you’re all safe, healthy, and happy. 💙🐝
