On a bit of a roll lately with the media collection acquisitions. A few weeks ago we purchased a big collection of big hair, hard rock and popular rock CDs, vinyl and cassettes. Most of the vinyl was gone before it could hit the shelves, and a lot of the CDs will end up on line on Discogs or Whatnot, but 99% of the 600 or so tapes is headed for the shelves at Cape Abilities Thrift . Lots and lots of good stuff.

On a side note. I’m going to try and be better about posting updates on here. I think what’s been holding me back is that I don’t really understand how to use Instagram. So I’m just going to stick with what I know and post on FB.

We’re in the hunt for CDs and DVDs. Please let me know if you have any you’d like to part ways with . You can either donate them to Cape Abilities Thrift and we’ll sell 100% of them there, or make a cash sale and some will still be sold at the Thrift Store and other on line.

Sad to hear this. Lenny was a good guy. When I had the shop he sold me his record collection, which included about 50 copies of Cyndi’s “She’s So Unusual” on different pressings. RIP.

Stop in for our BOGO sale on all red sticker dollar media (CDs, DVD, LPs, 45s, tapes etc…). All $1 items are buy one, get one and there’s a lot to choose from!

The new set up is just about complete. It’s getting super organized. Getting lots of positive feedback. Getting the CDs sorted out has been the main focus. We have an expanded Classical section, a huge dollar bin, Blues, Jazz, Soundtracks and Mixes all categorized and were through the letter O on alphabetizing the main inventory (you’re on your own for P-Z for a few more days 😆). Come on by.
