You're not "too much." You're just expensive to misunderstand.
Let's retire the phrase "I'm just too much."
No.
You're just not for people who only operate on the surface.
Some people love conversations that never leave the weather.
You want to know what keeps them awake at 2 a.m.
Some people want convenience.
You want honesty.
Some people are uncomfortable with emotions that aren't neatly folded and put away.
You'd rather tell the truth than perform "fine."
That doesn't make you difficult.
It makes you deep.
And depth has always been a filter.
Because not everyone is willing to meet you there.
The people who call you "too intense" are often the same people who expect connection without vulnerability.
Sorry...
That's not how this works.
You were never meant to fit into shallow spaces.
You were meant to find people who speak your language.
Depth isn't a character flaw.
It's a warning label.
It says...
"Surface-level interactions may not satisfy this human."
π Save this for the next time someone mistakes your authenticity for being "too much."
Tell me...
What's one thing you've stopped apologizing for?
