Update on today's race. Greyson is improving every week and by far this was his best week. His focus and technique proved that today taking home yet another 2nd place trophy. Me not so much. Old and out of shape but finding my mojo, I placed 4th. But the story line here, going up against expert level racers I actually placed better than one who's kicked my butt every race for the last several months. My trophy today was accomplishment.

Been a couple of weeks since we've posted about our BMX journey.
Here are some pics and a video.
Aug. 2nd I placed 3rd.
Aug. 9th Greyson placed third.
Greyson's trophy self is looking impressive, mine is ok for an old man.
Raced today at DeSoto, proud of Greyson, each practice and race you can see he gets better every day. We did not place top 3 today but we had fun.

7/25 - DeSoto BMX
Another hot day but Greyson and I are ready to hit the gate.

Update:
Tough day for both of us.
Because of the low turnout today they had to combine different races classes. They had Greyson racing against Intermediates and experts, and I was combined with experts.
Greyson did end up taking home 3rd place.
And me, I took home some dust from the other riders. :)
