Well now, this latecomer heatwave is rather uncomfortable! 🥵 But, the air is on & the shop is ready for visitors. Here’s an interesting tidbit…Considered a folk-art wonder & established 1892 in Mitchell, SD, the Corn Palace was a gathering place for residents. In 1921 a third bigger (& current) palace was built. Each year the outside is decorated with naturally colored corn & other grains. The reason I researched, is cause I have a vintage package of Corn Palace table settings.
