Hubbells Longhorn and Angus Beef Born and Raised Texas Longhorn and Angus Beef! 7 Generations strong, we have been farming here in H We raise Registered Texas longhorn cattle and Angus.

A cow/calf operation that consists of about 150 Texas Longhorn cows and 100 Angus cows ran on our pastures during the summer and fed hay and corn silage throughout the winter. In the past we have sold our steers through auctions in Wayland and Battle Creek but it's time we offer our beef directly to the community of Hastings. We promise to deliver a much more flavorful option than store bought beef and hope to make the process easy and convenient to purchase from us.

If you are looking for locally raised quality beef, we have two quarters of lean Texas Longhorn beef and eight quarters of Angus beef that can be custom cut to your preference and be ready for delivery mid-to-late January. As of today, we have 4 quarters of Angus available and 8 quarters of Longhorn Beef.

They will run around $600 each and will vary slightly depending on weight but it's close to $5/lb packaged meat (steaks/roasts/burger). The longhorn will be a leaner meat, better for more frequent consumption, and the Angus will have more marbling with higher fat and flavor.

We have 12 quarters of Angus and 8 quarters of Texas Longhorn beef that will be ready mid to late April. As long as this post is up, we still have quarters available. Price is $3.00/hanging weight so price varies but it usually comes out to about $600/quarter, and we can do 1/8th's as well as smaller bundles if that's too much meat.
