Do you have a guitar, sitting in the closet gathering dust? Do you have a guitar that you bought & never found the time to learn to play?
Would you like to see that guitar go to help a veteran, fighting PTSD and depression? Would you like to see that guitar go to help someone battling cancer?
There's a lot of people out there, veterans, cancer and other illnesses, who are in need of something to help them! Music! Music has been such a lifesaver in my battles with PTSD, depression, cancer and other problems which I have had over the years.
There's organizations out there that help get unwanted guitar's into the hands of veterans, cancer patients & people suffering with other diseases. Major illnesses cause so much stress and depression. 22 veterans take their own lives every day, due to PTSD and depression!
Would you like to help make a difference in somebody's life? Possibly save someone's life? I know first hand how good it makes me feel when I get a guitar in someone's hands, that gives them a reason to keep fighting, moving forward! The looks on their faces when they learn their first chord, play their first song! It's been life changing for me!
Here's what I'm asking.
I don't expect anyone to run over here with a $1200.00 Les Paul (that would be great!) However, I'm looking for guitars, basses, mandolins, banjos etc. Which you no longer want or need. Guitar's that have seen better days & are in need of repair, cleaning and some TLC!
I would like to be the catalyst, be able to help get these stringed instruments into the hands of someone who could really use a boost in their life! To help you get the same feelings I get from helping others make music and have music help them the way it has helped me!
I have been building guitar's and basses which I donate to veterans benefit and cancer benefits to be auctioned off.
I want to be able to do more! To help more people that need it most!
I would love to have your unused guitar, bass, ukulele etc. I would repair, clean, restring, set up and get your instrument in the hands of someone who can really use it! They'll get a guitar and lessons & You can use this as a tax write off!
Besides the guitars, I would also take strings, cases or bags, tuners, cleaning rags, polishes, lesson books and other related items. Acoustic or electric instruments. Full size, 3/3 size, 1/2 size. Any type of guitars and basses etc.
