Wowza, and just like that it's August, and what a wonderful season it has been so far...aside from some squally weather gumming up the works here and there we are so happy and thankful for all of you making the best of it with us! Did you know: to find out how far away a thunder storm/lightning strike is...once you see the flash, count until you hear the thunder, then divide by 2. But best to play it safe, when thunder roars head indoors...

We are one day closer to having our phone situation sorted out...until then keep sending us emails to [email protected] for your inquiries and reservations...In other news, it's going to be a scorching few days with heat indexes into the triple digits, make sure to hydrate and keep and eye on folks who may be susceptible to heat stroke or heat exhaustion

Don't let the forecast fool you, it could turn out to be absolutely beautiful here, and a perfect time to get away for a few days. Our phones are still out of commission, but, our email is working perfectly. Shew y'all, we finally have an update on our phone lines...we are switching carriers, however that means we will still be without a phone line until they are able to come out and connect our service. Well, as some of you may have noticed...out phone lines are still not working. We have been in contact multiple times with Brightspeed, and they have offered us no solution at this point, nor have they admitted to issues in our area that would be causing our issues. We have had a tech out and they have stated a software issue within their system is likely the obstacle. We were told, by Brightspeed, that call forwarding would have been implemented this past Sunday when the issue was reported to them, however, their system is not actually forwarding your calls to us. We are working on a resolution on our end which may include completely switching phone carriers. We will do our best to keep you posted. Motel reservations can still be made online, we are sorry for the inconvenience and look forward to talking to you when the phones are working again. You can also send us an email with any questions you may have. You can also send us a message through Facebook Messenger, but emailing assures that you will reach someone that is actually in the office.

If you have been trying to call and it has been ringing busy, it seems like our Brightspeed phone service has gone on vacation, preventing us from making or receiving calls, they are sending a technician as soon as possible. We are sorry for this inconvenience.
