Hawaiian Blown Glass is officially closed I'm sad to say. My gas tank has been removed from the property and COVID was the final crushing blow so we are retiring. I am still doing some repurposed glass bottle work and can/will do custom bottle orders/projects. Also if you have piece(s) of glass where the top may be cracked or broken I can cut and finish the edge nicely-using my cold technique only at this time. No hot work at this time. I want to thank all of you that bought our glass over the years. You are what made this work. I will miss blowing glass for sure but global warming made feel guilty plus sales were down costs went up so I had to face reality.
Glass Art Society is having their conference here in the spring of 2024!! Should be fantastic. No exact date yet but glass artists from all over the world will converge on UH-Manoa glass shop. Will be selling at William Sonoma at Ala Moana Center Oct. 1 from 9:30-3. First Saturday of every month they have a few invited artisans display and sell our wares in their store. Very nice of them to offer this.
