Every bag of our single-origin coffee starts with a single place. 🌍

One farm. One harvest. One set of hands that tended the crop from seed to cherry.

When you know where your coffee comes from, the cup means more.

That's the Octave standard: traceable, intentional, exceptional.

"Why does my coffee taste different every time I brew it? ☕"

Three things that change the game:

Water temperature: 195-205°F is the sweet spot. Too hot? You'll extract bitter compounds. Too cool? You'll miss the complexity.

Grind size: Finer grinds = more surface area = stronger extraction. Pour-over needs medium-fine. French press? Go coarse.

Brew time: Over-extraction pulls out the harsh notes. Under-extraction leaves sweetness and acidity on the table. For pour-over, aim for 3-4 minutes total.

The same beans can taste like chocolate, berries, or even floral notes depending on how you dial it in.

What's one brewing variable you're experimenting with right now?

Roasted a batch this morning. Smells like the only good reason to be awake at 6 AM.

There's this moment right after first crack when you know it's going to be good. The beans start talking. popping, expanding, turning into something worth drinking. It's part science, part instinct, mostly just paying attention.

By the time it hits the cooling tray, we already know how it's going to taste. Rich, balanced, the kind of coffee that doesn't need explaining.

Then it goes in the bag, and it's yours.

Roasting all week. Fresh bags ready to go. ☕
