Dave, of Dawson Scott Books, was an accredited news photo-grapher and member of the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA). His love of photography, particularly Black and White Photography, has been lifelong. Over the past 30 or 40 years, he has read, collected, bought and sold many books on the subject and still enjoys finding rare treasures and discovering photographers with whom he is
unfamiliar. Cooking and culinary arts are shared interests of both Dave and his wife, Pat. A number of cookbooks we have collected over the years came from Europe and England, where we were fortunate to have spent several years. Our collection also includes many well-known and highly sought-after titles, as well as a few you might not know. All are dedicated to the fine art of enjoying good food, good life and good friends. Pat is an avid reader and, if left alone in a bookstore or near a stack of books, will lose all track of time and space. Her interests are varied and many of our books are reflective of this. We both enjoy a "good read" and find it hard to pass up a good mystery and other novels, in addition to our non-fiction library. She's our lovable Jack Russell Terrier and she most definitely rules the pack! We hope to be able to persuade her to give up one or two of her favorites in time.
