We’re less than 2 weeks away from our CCCharity Yard Sale!

A couple of important notes:
• most of the t-shirts, sweatshirts & polos are size XL, but there will be a few that are 2XL and L - some stuff even has the tags still on and has never been worn, but most of it is just in very good condition
• there will literally be hundreds of t-shirts, sweatshirts, polos, jerseys, as well as hats, pint glasses, blankets, souvenir glasses & so many other fun things
• we will have 1 rack of items that are priced and not open to the pay-what-you-want model
• everything will be on a first come first sold basis, and the Yard Sale will not officially open until 11am, even though we will be setting up prior to that
• remember it’s for charity, not bargain hunting
• our store will still open at 10am that day and we’ll announce an in store promotion soon 👀

If you have any questions, contact Lauren directly at [email protected]

We're doing it! Carl had quite the collection of t-shirts, sweatshirts, and even some jerseys - so we're taking everything and hosting a CCCharity Yard Sale!

We've already given a bunch away to different charities, but there's even more to go around. Stop by on Saturday, Oct. 31st between 11AM - 3PM, pay what you think it's worth and we're donating all the money to the Finland USA Exchange - Haverford Hawks, because Carl absolutely loved hockey!

Look What the Kid Wrote Today 📖 Quotes, Anecdotes, and Other Musings, by Ray Didinger

When Ray Didinger was a young sports columnist, his proud grandfather would tape his articles on the mirror of his Southwest Philadelphia bar and tell his customers, “Look what the kid wrote today.” That phrase is now the title of Didinger’s latest book, a fond look back on his award-winning career.

In Look What the Kid Wrote Today, Didinger reflects on walking the historic Merion golf course with Jack Nicklaus, shooting pool with Mean Joe Greene, touring Foxcatcher Farms with John du Pont and hanging out with Mark Wahlberg on the set of Invincible. He also writes about helping to heal the rift between the Philadelphia Eagles and arguably their greatest player, Chuck Bednarik. It is a story that went untold until now.

Didinger takes the reader through the many stages of his fifty-plus years in sports media, from his time as an Emmy Award-winning producer at NFL Films, which involved writing scripts for the likes of Tom Selleck, Gary Busey, and Oscar winner James Coburn.

Now a playwright, Didinger also devotes a chapter to the 2025 premiere of his critically acclaimed production, Spinner.

Candid and insightful, Look What the Kid Wrote Today is Didinger at his best.

Order your copy today & have it signed by Ray in our store on Saturday, Nov. 14th!

As I go through everything at my parent’s house, especially different things from my dad’s collection, I have found some really interesting things. Like this Ponzio’s bill signed by Jon Runyan. I’m pretty certain this is something that was in a collection he purchased, but I personally love autographs on non-traditional items, like this one 🙂
