Exciting and exhausting things happening over here!

AI can be controversial but it can also be super helpful when identifying and pricing vintage items. It often saves me hours of time and frustration.

However, sometimes the old fashioned way can't be beat! I keep an ever growing library of reference books, catalogs and contemporary source materials because they are invaluable for accuracy in identification.

This pair of atomic Anchor Hocking 'Contempo' tumblers were featured in a 1958-59 catalog that was reprinted in Hazel Marie Weatherman's book 'The Decorated Tumbler'. Nowhere on the internet did I see this design identified as Anchor Hocking or the pattern 'Contempo' and without the book I couldn't have described them very specifically.

Take a break from the heat this weekend and wander Seneca Cannery!

Exciting news! I moved into my 2nd space at Seneca Cannery Antiques this week! The vibe of this space will be more mid-century boho and I'm excited to style and source for it!
