TONIGHT is the night!!!! ROCKY BOY!!!! ROCKY BOY!!! Tonight is the night for Rocky Boy Hunter's Education classes at Department of Natural Resources. This being said, R-New Trading Post will be closing early at 4pm today... Classes are from 5pmish to 8pmish depending on if the Fish n Game can provide a deer tonight. Bring your kids, neighbor's kids and maybe your husband that needs a refresher. 😂 Hope to see a nice turnout tonight. All NEW youth hunters receive free tags (deer n elk) I believe for participating. See you tonight at 5pm and let's learn together!! This is only for hunting within the Reservation boundaries!!!

ROCKY BOY!!!! ROCKY BOY!!!!! I've been invited to instuct Tribal Hunter's Education classes this year. August 27, 2026 from 5pm til 8pm at the Natural Resource Building in Rocky Boy. I'll be covering things such as game laws, Tribal boundaries, firearm safety, hunting ethics and possibly the field dressing and quartering of an animal if the Fish n Game can provide one that evening. Bring your kids, neighbor's kids and enjoy the evening learning together. Also bring a cooler incase we have meat to donate to the class afterwards. !!!This class is only for hunting within the Rock Boy Reservation!!! Update:::
Timothy Parker was able to pick it up!!! Thankfully this amazing animal will be utilized....

Unfortunately had a front yard visitor last night. With a dog and cows directly around the house I had to make the decision. Great hair and quills for whoever comes and gets it. No holds in this heat, thanks.

R-New Trading Post will be closing early today August 22nd at 2pm. Letting my customers from a long distance travel a little notice. Sorry it's so late. It's my birthday weekend and taking a little break to Enjoy Life. Another trip around the sun and with less of them ahead than behind me, making memories is a priority in my Life. R-New Trading Post will be closing early today August 4th 2026 at 2:45pm. Please come in early if you need anything. Unfortunately it's time for the shop dog Tikka to cross the Rainbow Bridge. After 15 1/2 yrs and the last 4 yrs without eyes, her body has decided to call it time. Thanks to everyone who had been checking on her over the past few months. The shop will reopen 9am Wednesday August 5th.

Just another friendly NOTICE that R-New Trading Post will be CLOSED from 2pm July 3rd, 2026 through Monday July 6th,2026 9am. Spending time with family from WA and making glossy memories. Tomorrow isn't promised but the BILLS will always be there waiting. Without an employee and the 60hr weeks are good reasons for me to take this TIME, before we know it, it's GONE. Hope everyone has a SAFE and memorable 250th FOURTH OF JULY!!!

Letting everyone know that R-New Trading Post will be closing at 5:15pm on June 12th for a dear friend that passed. I won't be opening until around 1pm on Saturday June 13th. He was a dear friend I spent time learning about farming and family. He helped many times while I was green as the spring grasses when it came to my desire to learn the tricks and trades of tilling the land for the fall harvest. I was fortunate to even haul my golden kernels of wheat to the elevator in his Ol blue grain truck. Thank you Howard for your patience and knowledge you shared with me. Rest in peace my friend. Thank you for your understanding. Have a safe weekend and enjoy the ones around you.
