The passing of Jerry Kinsella has deeply saddened the volunteers of Northern Montana Hospital.

Jerry and his wife, Laura, have been a treasured part of our volunteer family for many years. Together, they faithfully made their rounds with the hospital coffee cart, serving patients a warm cup of coffee. But what Jerry offered went far beyond what was in the cup. He brought a warm smile, a friendly conversation, and a few moments of kindness and companionship to those who needed it most.
Jerry also generously gave his time each month alongside Laura, volunteering with the Red Cross Blood Drive. His willingness to serve others and his genuine kindness touched so many people throughout our hospital and community.

We will greatly miss seeing Jerry's familiar smile and the caring spirit he brought to every volunteer shift. His years of service are a beautiful reminder that sometimes the simplest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with Laura, their family, and Jerry's many friends during this difficult time.

If you don't know, our gift shops are volunteer led. The volunteers stock the store, price new inventory, run the cash register, and make sure the shops always have what customers are requesting.
