The Village Timekeeper, established in 1995, has built its reputation on providing expert repair and restoration on all types of clocks, old and new and carries the complete line of Howard Miller, Ridgeway, Black Forest Cuckoo, as well as select antique timepieces. Our inventory of American, English and German clocks are available in quartz and mechanical movements, ranging from table, mantle, wal

l and tall case clocks. We have all types and all styles for everyone’s decorating taste. Our shop is conveniently located in Hawthorne, NJ and is easily accessible from Rt 80, Rt 208, Rt 17, Rt 4 and the Garden State Parkway. Vintage Session’s Electric Mantle Clock ~ Customer opted for a Quartz conversion due to costly motor rebuild. Esthetically the clock remained the same utilizing the existing hands and retro fitting a movement with a sweep second hand to emulate an electric.

Invented in 1928 by Swiss engineer Jean-Léon Reutter, the clock requires no winding and simply runs on barometric pressure and temperature changes giving the illusion of ‘perpetual motion’.

Antique German Anniversary Clock w/ Disc Pendulum - Circa late 1800’s. Movement repaired and serviced. New custom suspension spring fabricated. Developed in Germany in the 1800s.
