When you see the Boost Logic GTR logo peeking through an R35 front bumper, you already know what's behind it.

That logo sits on the Ultimate Race Intercooler, Boost Logic's largest core for the R35 and the biggest air-to-air front mount available for the platform. Garrett core, 3-inch Vanjen inlets and outlets, rated for over 2,000 wheel horsepower.

The Vanjen connections are the detail worth slowing down for. Silicone couplers rely on friction and clamping force, and under repeated high-boost cycles they can blow off or develop slow leaks once pressure climbs into the 40+ psi range. Vanjen clamp ends use a precision metal-to-metal connection with a dedicated clamp ring, locking the seal mechanically and removing the failure mode entirely. On a build rated past 2,000 whp, that reliability is the difference between a clean pass and a teardown.

What's almost as surprising is that a core this large still drops into a stock R35 without chassis modification.

The Kimera EVO37 is a hand-built reimagining of the Lancia 037, and the exhaust now matches the ambition.

Kline Innovation's full system is constructed from Inconel 625, an aerospace-grade alloy chosen for heat tolerance and weight. The rear section comes in at 9.1 kg, carbon tips at 1.1, heat shield at 1.1, for a total of 11.3 kg. The factory system is 15. That is a 5.9 kg saving on a car already obsessed with mass reduction.

Subaru/STI just claimed their second SP4T class victory at the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race, and it was earned the hard way.

Qualifying 2nd in class out of 159 entries, the WRX NBR Challenge 2026 (built on the WRX S4 platform) chased down the SP4T pole-sitter in the opening stages, took over the class lead, and held it for the full 24 hours. Drivers Carlo van Dam, Kota Sasaki, Takuto Iguchi, and Rintaro Kubo brought the car home after 139 laps and roughly 3,527.5 km, finishing 31st overall.

The Nordschleife is one of the most demanding endurance circuits on the planet, and a class win here is never a one-driver, one-pit-stop story. It's chassis, strategy, and four drivers staying patient through every weather shift and traffic window the Green Hell can throw at them.

Big respect to the entire STI motorsport program. The WRX continues to earn its reputation where it matters most.

The Mercedes 190E Evo II silhouette is back on the Nordschleife, and HWA's tribute earned two podiums on debut at the Nürburgring 24.

HWA AG entered three EVO.R race cars in the 2026 ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. The #61 finished P2 in SP-X, the #62 took P3, and the #63 came home P4. All three saw the chequered flag after 24 hours of mixed weather and Nordschleife abuse. The driver lineup included three-time N24 overall winner Markus Winkelhock, DTM champion Bruno Spengler, Renger van der Zande, and 2015 DTM runner-up Jamie Green.

Underneath the retro silhouette is a 3.0L twin-turbo V6, six-speed sequential, transaxle layout, and a chassis developed by the same engineering house responsible for Mercedes-AMG's GT3 program and more than 50 years of motorsport. The road-going HWA EVO is limited to 100 units; the track-only HWA EVO R, just 15.

128 laps of the Green Hell. Zero fossil fuel.

Manthey's #992 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup just ran the entire 2026 Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race on synthetic eFuel Race 98, finishing 56th overall. The fuel is made from green hydrogen and captured CO₂, and the GT3 Cup's flat-six was developed to run on synthetics from the start. What's new is the endurance proof: twenty-four hours on the Nordschleife at race pace, classified at the finish.

The combustion engine isn't going away as quickly as some predicted. Programs like this are why.

Turn the sound on.

NOVITEC's 812 GTS N-Largo R is the farewell to the naturally aspirated V12 era, and they sent it off properly. A subtle two-tone graduated finish stretched over a full carbon body, 14 cm wider than stock, every panel tied to the sound coming out of the back.

The air-cooled flat-six was never meant to run on a single component.

BBI Autosport built their new Aircooled Powertrain System around that exact idea. Engine management, fueling, ignition, and air delivery are not problems you solve in isolation. They have to be engineered as one ecosystem.

So that is what BBI did. Purpose-built individual throttle bodies for the early 911, 964, and 993. A platform-specific ECU paired with a plug-and-play wiring harness and tunable base maps. A cam sensor kit that opens the door to sequential fuel injection and individual cylinder timing. A finished distributor block-off kit for electronic ignition conversions. A full suite of temperature, pressure, and position sensors validated to the ECU. Shared connectors. Shared documentation. Shared engineering standards across every component.
