HRCR is Going out of Business🄲

Attn: Racers, Friends, Family

It’s hard to fully express what HRCR has meant to me.

After 25 years running a construction company, I’ve never claimed to be a perfect RC track owner or promoter. I’ve always been direct, truthful, no B.S, no nonsense kinda guy, that’s just who I am.

In 2020/21, We made a huge personal investment into building HRCR, never even thought for a second we would profit, it was purely to give back to the RC community that had shaped my childhood. Hoping it would just sustain itself financially, The goal was simple: create a place where racers could compete, give young adults something to strive for, connect with friends, and feel at home. For many, HRCR became more than a race track it became our ā€œDirt Church.ā€

HRCR will permanently be closed after Saturday August 29. Racing will continue as scheduled until then.

Special pricing on Pro Shop items will be available to our dedicated racers first,

Discounts will be verbal in person only!!

To every racer, volunteer, customer, sponsor, and friend over the past five years, thank you. You were never just customers; you became family.

I’m truly sorry I couldn’t keep your home track alive.

To those who never experienced HRCR but chose to speak negatively, I wish you had seen it for yourself. You missed something special, something you can’t understand from behind a keyboard or from your parent’s basement.

What we built together will never be forgotten. The memories, friendships, and moments will always be part of HRCR, and part of me.

Thank you for believing in HRCR and being part of its story.

This isn’t just the closing of a track, it’s the end of a chapter that changed my life and my finances forever.

Hopefully we will see each other again.

Till then BRAAAAAP-ON

As a hobby shop owner, RC racer, and track owner, I’ve got a strong opinion on something…

When a manufacturer delivers a kit that can perform right out of the box, that’s knocking it out of the park. šŸ‘Š

There is nothing better than being able to hand a customer a kit and say:

ā€œBuild it to kit setup and go race.ā€

No chasing $800 worth of option parts.
No trying to match a pro driver’s secret build.
No frustration wondering why the car won’t work.

Too many companies sell you a car for X… then expect you to spend ###YZ to make it race-ready like their team guys.

That’s why I think this is a great move by Mugen Seiki.

A competitive platform out of the box helps:
• New racers stay excited
• Club racers stay competitive
• Hobby shops build trust
• Tracks stay healthy

It impressed me enough that I ordered one up myself.

Looking forward to getting it built and on the track. šŸ”„šŸ

Unfortunately, the 2026 Adam Drake Gas Truck Nationals will not continue.

This was not an easy decision. With other local tracks already booking races on top of Father’s Day weekend, combined with declining attendance and ongoing challenges within our community, we’ve made the difficult choice to step back from hosting this event.

At the core of HRCR is our local racing community. The racers who show up week after week for Wednesday night off-road and oval club racing are the backbone of this facility. Moving into 2026, our focus will be on strengthening and supporting those programs that keep our track alive, fun, drug free, safe and welcoming.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported the Gas Truck Nationals over the years, racers, families, volunteers, sponsors, and fans. Your passion has never gone unnoticed.

Sometimes stepping back is the best way to move forward. We look forward to continuing to grow strong, consistent local racing and keeping HRCR a place racers and families enjoy coming to.

Thank you for understanding and for your continued support.
