It’s happening… pumpkin season is officially underway at New Leaf! 🍂

The first pumpkins of the season are here, and we’re just getting started! Whether you’re ready to decorate your porch, add a little fall color, or start planning your perfect pumpkin display, come see what’s arrived!

And we have something very fun and unique this year… ✨🏮 CHINESE LANTERN FLOWERS! 🏮✨

These fall favorites are known for their bright orange, papery lantern-like husks that almost look like tiny pumpkins hanging from the plant. They bring gorgeous seasonal color to the garden and can be enjoyed fresh or dried for fall decorating. They’re definitely something you don’t see every day!

🌱 DON’T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO GET YOUR LAWN GROWING! 🌱

If your lawn could use a refresh—or you’re ready to start one from scratch—now is the time to get moving! Early fall is one of the best windows for seeding, repairing thin spots, and giving your lawn a fresh start before winter.

🍂 Why seed in the fall?
• Cooler temperatures are easier on new grass
• Warm soil helps seeds germinate quickly
• Fall moisture means less stress from summer heat
• Fewer weeds are competing with new grass
• Grass has time to establish a strong root system before winter
• A well-established lawn will be ready to take off when spring arrives

🌱 A few fall seeding tips:
Start with good soil preparation, remove thatch and debris, loosen the soil, and choose a quality seed mix suited to your conditions. Keep newly seeded areas consistently moist while the seed is germinating, and once the grass is established, gradually reduce watering and allow the roots to grow deeper.

And remember—you don’t have to figure it all out on your own! We have the seed, soil amendments, fertilizers, tools, and other supplies you need, plus the knowledge to help you choose the right products and get your lawn off to a strong start.

🍂 Now that the weather has cooled, it’s the perfect time to become friends with your garden again! 🌱

Fall is one of our favorite times to plant. Cooler temperatures and more comfortable gardening days make it a great time to add trees, shrubs, perennials, and other plants to your landscape. Plus, getting plants in the ground now gives their roots time to settle in before the next heat wave next summer. ☀️

And while you’re here, take advantage of our Labor Day Sale! 🛍️ There’s no better time to refresh your garden and save while you’re at it.
