Our first Beginning Knitting Class will be on Wednesday, April 22nd at 330 until 430. The class series takes you from learning to cast on and knit in the first class to make a hat and matching lace scarf in the last classes. There's a total of 8 projects in all.

Hi, I'm Elizabeth Rybicki, the knitting teacher at Slip Stitch Yarn in Hayesville NC with information on our Beginning Knitting Classes.

The class size will be no more than 4 and additional classes will be scheduled if needed.

Our tentative start date of April 15th has been rescheduled to April 22nd. Classes will meet every other Wednesday from 3 to 4:30.

Classes are $20 per class which includes your patterns and handouts. Additionally, Hope has put together a small project pouch with the basic knitting tools, knitting needles and 2 skeins of yarn for $15. Fees are payable at each class.

Classes are in building blocks from learning the basic knitting stitches in making spa cloths with a final class knitting a hat and matching lace scarf. There are 8 projects in the Beginning Knitting series.
