So…Remember my post about the wedding cakes we found in the freezer? Turns out none of them were mine! 🤦‍♀️😂

Maybe Wayne and I did enjoy our cake for our first anniversary. I don’t remember , but that’s what 35 years of marriage and a lot of life will do for you.

To settle the mystery of whose cake is who’s.

Blue: My In-laws, Norman and Dorthy Voss. 64 yrs
Purple: Martha and Tony Stutterheim, 40 yrs
Pink: Paula and Rob Amerine, almost 35 yrs
Red: I’m guessing it’s the 40th anniversary cake for Norman and Dorthy. (This is the one I thought was mine and the frosting had darkened over the years)

Let’s take a minute to enjoy the sheer grandness of my cake that was the style of the day. It also matched the grandness of my wedding dress and veil!

Have you noticed I’ve been MIA at the Hays Downtown Market more than usual this summer?
Let’s just call this the summer of curveballs. We have had a few and they are keeping me busy on weekends.

In May, my Father-in-Law passed away so now comes the task of cleaning everything out. This weekend’s fun activities have included cleaning out garages and cleaning out freezers. 🤪 We found these gems at the bottom of one.

Which cake topper do you think is mine? Represented is my cake topper, my MIL’s and two SIL’s

Of course the biggest question of all is why did we keep these this long?? 🤦‍♀️
