🍂It’s that time of year to switch to inside shows. 👏

I love the downtownhaysmarket but being able to set up without worrying about the wind and the weather is amazing.

My first show is this Saturday 🤞🏻at Gross Memorial

I’m crossing my fingers because we got another curveball in my Cancer journey. 🩷 I’ll be getting my first of four rounds of chemo tomorrow.

Depending on how I’m feeling I’ll be at the Your Voice Through Cancer show on Saturday. If my energy is lower I’ll either do the Downtown Hays market or stay home. Basically stay tuned to find out where I will be. 🫡☑️

Again, thanks for all the prayers, good thoughts and support over the last month. I’m feeling good and also I also have a calmness around me as I prepare for Chemo tomorrow. Prayer works!

I’m alive!

And doing pretty good. I’m also finding out the recovery from this surgery is taking longer than I hoped but everyday is better than the last and the irritation from the lymph node incision is less irritating everyday. ( Say that fast 3 times 🤪)

Best news ever is the path report came back clear! All signs of cancer are gone. 🎉🙏

Yesterday I made it down to my studio and petted some fabric for about 15 min. It was enough to make my heart happy!

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers. I really felt them along this entire journey.

Thanks to everyone who came to market this morning and looked around, shopped, wished me luck and gave me a hug! 😘

I also want to thank all of you for the sweet notes you took time to add to my post last week.

You are all seriously the best!

📣Announcement time

Remember my wedding cake post? 🎂 The one where I said it was the summer of curve balls being thrown our way?

In June I went in for my routine mammogram (girls, get your mammograms!) and that started a series of lots of tests that ended with the words Breast Cancer.

🗞️Good news: my cancer was caught early. 🎉 and I’ll have surgery next week to remove it.
🗞️Bad news: My Dr has these funny rules about me taking it easy. 🤪

I’ll be at market this weekend but then I’ll be gone for 3-4 weeks. I will also not be able to take any orders during this time.

Thanks for your support and say a little prayer 🙏 for clear margins and clean lymph nodes and don’t put off your mammograms, I almost did. 😬
