Last Tuesday we had our annual team appreciation day! What a great time and a perfect day!!

We are open 6 days a week, winter 7 days so Sunday afternoons are really the only time our whole team has off at the same time. And while we all love eachother, let’s be honest, the last thing we want to do is hang out with each other on the only day we are away LOL! In addition many team members have small children to tend to, some drive from almost Ashland, Spooner, Ladysmith, all have families and chores if their own, so it’s a lot to ask of them to come back on an afternoon off after a long week. Do you remember being in school and having a rare hookie or snow day and how exciting that was?! As adults we don’t get those exciting days much anymore so we create one and choose a Tuesday as it is traditionally our “quieter” day. So we close down for the day and all sneak away for some mini golfing with some friendly competition (usually Brent is cheating) and the Honey Badger food truck. It’s such a great day! And we get lucky with good weather each year!!

Thank you to our customers for understanding and working around that scheduled day! A huge thank you to the Lumberjack Mini Golf for welcoming us every year and our dear friends with Honey Badger Bites for feeding our crew with your amazing menu!! Most of all, thank you to our HPS team, we wouldn’t be what we are without you!! 🫶
