🇺🇸 Happy Pioneer Day, Utah! 🤠🎆

Today we celebrate the courage, determination, and pioneering spirit that helped shape this great state we call home.

While Freedom Flares Fireworks won’t be opening our tent this Pioneer Day due to the current fireworks restrictions in Heber City, we still wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who has followed our journey, shared encouraging words, and supported our family-owned business during what has certainly been an unusual season.

Although we weren’t able to celebrate with you the way we had hoped, our love for this community—and the traditions that bring us together—hasn’t changed.

There will be more Pioneer Days…
More fireworks…
More memories waiting to be made.

Until then, we’ll continue looking forward to the day we can once again help families safely light up the Utah sky.

Heber city has again decided to place a ban on fireworks but If you want to celebrate Pioneer Day with fireworks here are the cities that are allowing them.

Have fun and stay safe.

Fireworks will be permitted anywhere in city limits from July 22-25. They can be discharged from 11am-11pm with hours extended until midnight on the 24th.

As we celebrate with family and friends, let's remember that Utah is experiencing extremely dry conditions, and one spark can start a devastating wildfire.

If you're planning to use fireworks:
✅ Light fireworks only during the legal discharge dates and times
✅ Never use fireworks on state parks, federal lands, or in areas where fireworks are prohibited
✅ Keep a bucket of water or hose nearby
✅ Avoid lighting fireworks in or around vegetation or weeds
✅ Never allow young children to light fireworks
✅ Fully soak used fireworks before throwing them away

🎇 Have fun. Be responsible. Prevent wildfires.
