I've been sewing and crafting for as long as I can remember. If there's a technique I haven't tried, it's p

robably on my wish list. At my blog, Crafty Staci, I share beginner-friendly craft and sewing tutorials, simple recipes, links to fun things I find elsewhere and my successful, and sometimes not-so-successful, attempts at expressing my own creativity. I find that people who haven't tried it before are occasionally hesitant to take that first step into making things. I try to guide and inspire them to jump in and not be afraid to make mistakes along the way. I'm very fortunate that I can spend my days doing the things I love! I also have a shop on Etsy where I sell handmade photography accessories, like straps, lens cap holders, business card holders and memory card wallets, coffee cup sleeves, DIY coffee cup sleeve sewing kits and vendor aprons.

Now that my Bear Summit Quilt is out in the wild, let's continue meeting the bears! Today I'm introducing Winnie.

Did you know the original Winnie, the one The Pooh was named after, was a female black bear at the London Zoo? That's why our Winnie is a charcoal color, rather than the yellowish brown we're all familiar with.
