I recently took my family (13, 10, 3, and 1 year old kids) to The Arena Challenge Zone here in Temecula and we had a BLAST! Delicious food, drinks, and fun for the whole family! While it is aimed at a little older kids, even my 3.5 year old was able to get in on the action and play some of these games! The kids loved running around and trying every game as many times as they could! Some family favorite were Buggy Business, Cosmic Colors, and Fro-zone. There is nothing like it anywhere in California and it's absolutely worth a visit. My kids are constantly asking when we can go back!

I noticed a tiny jumping spider in my Basil yesterday and it has already caught 2 flies. Today I noticed a new Praying Mantis had moved in as well! We are very exited to have them join our team!

We live in an apartment and don't have much space so we decided to see what we could grow around our front door. It is looking good so far!

Making an Oak and Marlow baby Brie Mouse. I have a couple of colorways when I'm finished. I also finally put some eyes on one of the Mushrooms I have in progress so he's done and I just need to finish the other. Ill probably post a picture tomorrow. Ive got to figure out a set up for recording video content because I would love to show the process while I make something!

I'm super excited about working on something new! I've only ever made quilts so making a sensory cube was the first time ive done any 3D projects with sewing. And honestly? It was delightful! Choosing all the ribbons and figuring out where to place them was a fun part of the design. Then the sewing was just a bunch of straight seams so it went pretty quick! I made sure to take my time securing all the ribbons and seams well so it can hold up to all the tugging and chewing those tiny hands do when playing. What do you think? Wanna snag one of these for a sweet little baby you know?

Well... I made a small mistake

I made a batch of three of these sensory squares last night. This is the first one I finished and for the most part I am SO happy with how it turned out but.... I did make a mistake. I accidently sewed the minky fabric on with the wrong side facing out. I didnt notice until it was 100% finished and i just couldn't seem rip it all out and try again. I dont think it's the worst thing in the world. It is now like one of those bubble pop it things just REALLY soft haha. I defiantly made sure to do the other two the correct way after this one.

What do you think? Should I sell this as a Seconds Quality item at a discount or should I gift it to my son?

I know, I know it has been a while. Ive had a crazy busy year with all my kiddos, and if we are being perfectly honest I felt so demotivated after Joann went out of business. But I am gearing up to reopen and get out there in just a few months! I am working on building up inventory so I can have a full and inviting booth. I also have been working on some new and different products. With the type of yarn I want to work with being less available immediately around me, ive decided to pivot a bit. I'll still be making beautiful, quality crochet plushies, but I also am working on a line of sewn baby products! Things like bibs, sensory squares, sensory blocks, pacifier clips and more! Keep your eyes peeled for all the new exciting things as we embark on this new branch of our adventure together!
