BOOK STORE CLOSING!
Just a little note from the Red Feather Books puppies, the bookstore will be closing end of day July 31. Not for sure how long, maybe indefinitely. But, the important thing for you to know now, is that all inventory is marked back down to 40% off the original price. So go shop, you've got about 13 days left.
And if anyone is interested in the entire inventory, those approximately 5,000 volumes are up for sale at $3 per book, but that price is an all or nothing price. We were a little late to the June Sale at , but I got everything squared away with their sales group and Red Feather Books inventory is listed at 40% off, the biggest discount in our 4 years of book selling! Yesterday while sorting books I ran across the Poky Little Puppy’s First Christmas, a book that has been mine since I was a pre-schooler. I glanced down and saw my shirt and was surrounded by our puppies so had to take some pics, and then I read it to them. They lay there and listened but Lady Belle got the most enjoyment out of sleeping on it!

All prices have been decreased by 30% on ABEBooks. Those prices are reflected now when you go to our website and click through to the storefront. I’ve never had a sale this large nothing over 15% before now. But we need to decrease inventory! So go buy a book.

Tonight my brother came over and we were playing a new game Ticket to Ride: Rails & Sails and as we were finishing up I got the notification that made a sale for a book about trains! “Rail, Mail and Dreams: The Story of the West End Narrow Gauge Railroad” It must be a sign & this is a sign for you to buy your own book about trains or planes or cars or pretty much any subject you want at www.redfeatherbooks.com!

At approximately 4:30 this morning Red Feather Books made their 1500th sale! That’s more than 1500 books in a little over 3 years. I’m happy with that especially since the store has been on vacation a total of 4-5 months during that time due to our travel schedule! I’m hoping to get the next 1500 even quicker! I’ve been listing all week and still have another 50-60 boxes to go! Come join the book party! 😁

When you’re working hard listing new books for it is advisable to have a guard mini schnauzer to keep a lookout for attack squirrels. I can attest she did a fine job. I was not attacked. She received treats for a job well done.

What a weekend for books. Yesterday afternoon a friend was over at the house and I told her I had 4 books to get out. Then, it wound up being 9 packages containing a total of 10 books! The bookstore will be open for a few more hours but then it will be going on vacation for a few weeks, so if you’ve been eyeing any books on the Red Feather shelves, hurry up and hit that order button before the day ends!
