To all our wonderful consignment people: It has truly been a pleasure working with you! Our little store would have been pretty bare and not even half as appealing as you have made it! BUT we know you'd love to sell your products and need to find a new home for them ASAP! We will be in the store tomorrow (Saturday, 01/06/18), from 10 AM to 5 PM so that you may pick up your products and a check for this last quarter.
We wish you the best for 2018! When or if we are able to reopen only the Lord knows. We are in a fight that many of you have experienced first hand. We thank you for your prayers and many offers of help. We know we are blessed to have such caring friends. We rest in the assurance that we are in God's hands; He knows our future and is guiding us every step of the way!
We sure don't deserve so many blessings, but sure are glad they've been heaped upon us!

We have closed the Bees' Knees Country Store as Bill fights pancreatic cancer. Like you, we were caught by surprise and don't know what the future holds, but do know Who holds the future! After we will contact all our consignment people and set up a time for them to come and collect their goods so they may continue to sell them.
We are so sorry for the inconvenience and wish you all the best for the coming year!

The BEST - We've got it! I'm not talking about product, though I'm pretty proud of that, too, I'm talking about our consignment people - the ones that make our store so unique! They're the BEST! You know many of them, more than we do, as you've grown up with them, worked with them, gone to church and ball games with them. Not only are they great neighbors and friends, they're talented, too, and share that with all of us. Come out and see some of what they have to offer and get that unique gift you've been looking for - knowing you're supporting them and your community! We're open till 5, as always!

We opened our store in Nov. of 2006 and were fortunate to be able to have the products of O'Berry Center of North Carolina! They help autistic and mentally challenged adults to lead more productive and enjoyable lives. Several years ago they started a mentoring program that allowed their clients to learn a skill and develop a product, which they eventually started selling to fund more projects so more clients could get involved, if they desired - which many very much wanted to do. They're located in Goldsboro and have a log cabin store where they sell their products. They also allow folks like us to sell their product at our stores. They started with soaps and creams, then went to wood products, like the blue bird houses, bat houses, carpenter bee catchers, and many more; then into ceramics, dried flower arrangements, live plants, and sooo much more. We carry a number of their products, at very reasonable prices. Oh, I forgot to mention that they like our honey so much, they buy it in bulk and repackage it and sell it!

WHIMSY! Marcia has made some beautiful whimsy balls for babies and tots, but don't you think we all need a bit of whimsy in our lives? We try to provide a bit of it at our store! That and curiosity help keep us young! We have a few curiosities like a live bee hive, a stuffed nutria (too scary to picture), a beaver skin, and a crocodile skin - to name a few. With all the whimsy and curiosities, you might say we're the Fountain of Youth -ANNEX!

When it comes to shopping, I'm a pushover for a sale or any item that can do double (or more) duty! That's why I love Becky's door stoppers! They're heavy duty so they work well as a stopper, but can also be used to 'get someone's goat'! She does stoppers in sooo many designs, but one of my favorites is the football player in your favorite school colors, or a cheerleader! We're U of M fans, but our kids are Mich. State fans. I think they'd love a U of M stopper! They're great for that man cave, too!
I don't want to forget Rita! She makes the most wonderful soap - it looks great and smells good, too.

Good news: Adrian has made more bracelets with crosses and they'll be at the store today! Marcia's button Christmas trees are in demand, so be sure to get one or more! Anita's Christmas tree (I don't have that pictured) flew off the 'shelf' just about as soon as it appeared! And, by demand, I made more hair clips with a little jingle to them so your little angel will definitely get noticed! As usual, we'll be open at 11 AM and stay till 5 PM. Have a great day!
