YOWSER YOWSER YOWSER!!!! We sold more books today than yesterday!!! We sold 144 books today.....so (another drum roll, please).....we are now at 40.1% of our goal AND the property manager gets an even bigger check tomorrow......

It's kitten time at Copper Cat Books. Our friends of Southern Nevada Trapping and Rescue are here with some lovely little felines; frisky little creatures that want to come be your new best friend!!

Man, oh Manischewitz....what a day! Nobody probably knows that but it was a catch phrase for a kosher wine "some years ago" and I am trying to come up with witty and memorable things to say so everybody knows we hit 1060 books today towards our goal and are now at 35.3% with four weeks left; or about 65 books a day!!! WOO HOO!!! This feels SO good to know we are going to be able to catch up on back rent or at least make a big dent in it!! We will be sending property manager a big fat check on Monday!!

SO MUCH THANKS is in my heart for everybody that been supporting us....new customers, current customers and I have to say, I consider all of you friends of the store. It truly does take a "village" and WOW...what a village we have!!

WOW!!! We sold 113 books today!!!! That puts us at 925 books toward our goal of 3000 books sold by September 15. That is 30.8%.
We are SO hoping, we sell enough tomorrow to put us at 1000 books or 33.33%!!!
We have had such an outpouring of support and it is SOOOO wonderful and we are SO grateful for this support from our community.
We will continue to update as we move to the September 15 end-date. Another update, we will be sending the property manager another whole month of rent (with extra) on Monday.....we ARE digging out!!!
