A project I’ve been working on since last Christmas can finally be posted! When Joshua Herron and Bridget Herron asked Xander to be their ring bearer, I knew I wanted to design a pillow for him to carry and for them to keep forever. Their monogram, their wedding colors, and finishing inspired by the sea their ceremony overlooked! Swipe for a glimpse at the beautiful couple and the very cute ring bearer. I’m still not over his shoes.

A mini lower-case-f finish of the weekend! I found this on Needlepoint Destashing as a tiny bag charm, but decided to stitch it as a square ornament. Cross stiched palm leaves, strands from 2 different colors of DMC for the trunks, first time doing interlocking gobelin for the sand… then it needed something. I saw an old post from Emma Homent for a confetti stitch and turned it sideways to be waves. Added brick stitch to fill in and voila! A tiny, $30 project is now a way for me to remember some of my favorite summer memories.

A multi holiday door hanger! This was Hillary’s first stitch- and she worked with French knots on the mistletoe!

Her request was that it would work for Christmas and into February for Valentine’s Day, so we kept it very girly and pink!

I have been training with an incredible needlepoint finisher this summer, and had the honor of finishing missyl_king’s first ever stitch! I am so thrilled to both share this hobby with Missy and help her turn it into an ornament for her tree!
