This Juvenile Melanurus Wrasse is as useful as it is beautiful!

With its vibrant blue and yellow stripes, iridescent colors, and nonstop activity, it’s one of those fish that’s always on the move and always catches your eye.

Beyond its stunning looks, the Melanurus Wrasse is well-known for helping control unwanted pests like flatworms, pyramid snails, and other nuisance hitchhikers, making it a favorite among reef keepers.

We wanted to let everyone know about a small change to our hours. Over the next couple of weeks, Jackie will be transitioning to part time as she prepares to welcome her daughter into the world!

To help balance store operations while continuing to provide the healthiest livestock and the best service possible, Skip’s Reef Supply will now be closed on Wednesdays until further notice.

Our temporary hours are:

🔹 Thursday – 12 PM – 7 PM

Meet one of the tiniest little personalities in the shop a Yellow Boxfish! If you’ve never seen one in person, they’re basically a swimming cube with fins and an attitude that’s way bigger than their size.

With its bright sunshine yellow color and adorable little face, it’s impossible not to smile when you watch it cruise around the tank. This little box of happiness is guaranteed to steal the spotlight wherever it goes✨

They’re definitely one of the most unique fish in the saltwater hobby, and this little one won’t be here for long!
