Good afternoon. Just a little update on the activity in Putnam County.

Several area law enforcement, fire and EMA drones were called to search an area around Prairie Industrial Parkway, following up on one of several locations from phone signals of a person that is missing from Peru.

Peru Police took the missing person report and any further information will be released by Peru PD.

Francisco is a handsome boy a little over 2 years old and in search of his forever home! Confined during a TNR project, he showed us that he was socialized once in the trap, we had a space for him, and he no longer needs to live on the streets! He's a sweet boy who is shy until he trusts you, yet even when he is unsure of a new person, he lays right in their lap and purrs! He will do great in a quieter home that can give him time and patience to adjust and be brave. He certainly loves other felines and will do good with other cats with proper introduction. PUTNAM COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
PRESS RELEASE

On 1/16/2025 the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a subject that had jumped from the Illinois River Bridge on Rt 89. Police, Fire, and EMS resources were dispatched from both Putnam County and Spring Valley. A search of the river was conducted and the victim was located at approximately 4:46 pm and removed from the water.

The victim was transported to OSF St. Elizabeth Peru by PCEMS. The victim was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Assisting the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office were Standard Fire Department, PC EMS, Spring Valley Fire Department, 10/33 Ambulance, MABAS Div 25 Water Rescue Team, Spring Valley Police Department, Bureau County Sheriff’s Office, Illinois State Police, Illinois Conservation Police, Bureau County Emergency Management, and Ladd Fire Department.

This incident is under investigation by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office.

I am taking orders for custom designed Full Rosary Wrap Bracelets. I am about to order some very nice, high quality beads and would love to know any specific color requests. I will add another post attempting to share some of the beads I liked the most. Included is a sample of one I made but it's sold. I've sold 4 if this exact style already. Prices will vary depending upon the cost of the beads themselves.
