Hey everyone 👋
The Festival of Hope is next Saturday June 27th! There will be good music, good drinks, good times and lots to do!
Something new at my booth that ive wanted to do for awhile is a vending machine for the kids! I have alot of families visit my booth and alot of the parents say dont touch anything or not even come in to look because of the glass and the worry of breaking something. Which is understandable yet i try to say that the kids can look and play with the marbles. You can't break a marble by picking it up.
I want kids to have a positive experience with glass and see that it is something that they can learn to do. So now ill have this right at the front of my booth with a sign saying, Kids should play with marbles, its ok we all loose our marbles eventually.
I remember begging my mom for a dollar in quarters so I could get something out of a vending machine at Pizza hut and when you're a little kid something like that can make your day.
Ill also have a 2nd machine eventually for the adults with larger marbles and ill have some of my nicer marbles mixed in so you may get a really nice marble on some luck and I'll have coupon marbles mixed in the machines so you can get like 10% off or 10$ off something to add some fun and interaction and its cheap what else can you get for a quarter anymore outside of the rummage and garage sales?
