Happy Wednesday from Dogwood!

Today's encouragement comes from
Deuteronomy 31:6 :
ā€œSo be strong and courageous! Donā€™t be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will never fail you or abandon you.ā€

This hits home for me this week. I hope it blesses you as much as it's been blessing me.
This might sound a bit like last weeks encouragement but, over the past couple of weeks, God has been reminding me that even when my circumstances aren't what I hoped for, even when I don't understand, and even when I don't want to walk through the hard things, He remains the same. He is still a good God. He is still a loving Father and my strength can only be found in him alone. His character never changes.
There are tons scriptures and stories throughout the Bible that remind us of this! We can make all the plans we want, but if they aren't God's will, we cant force them to happen. And if they are His will, nothing can stand in the way. I have my own personal testimonies that prove that, and Dogwood is one of those testimonies.
So whether today is one of your best days or one of your hardest, remember this, you have a good Father who goes before you. He sees what you can't, He knows what's ahead, and His plans for you are always better than anything you could imagine. Trust Him, even when it's hard. He's never failed you, and He never will. I encourage you to take action this week, if you have a testimony which all of us do. Share it with someone! Thereā€™s power in them and ultimately an uplifting spirit šŸ¤

Happy Wednesday from Dogwood!

Today's encouragement comes from Romans 4:18ā€“21:
ā€œEven when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hopingā€“believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, ā€œThat's how many descendants you will have!ā€ And Abraham's faith did not weaken, even though at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as deadā€“ and so was Sarah's womb.
Abraham never wavered in believing Godā€™s promise. In fact his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. And because of Abrahamā€™s faith, God counted him as righteous.ā€

Abraham is a good picture of being clothed in God's promises. If you don't know the story Abraham and his wife Sarah chose to take matters into his own hands to have a child. But even then God still came through to his side of His promise and made Abraham descendants many. Our confidence shouldn't be in our circumstances, it should be in God's faithfulness. Even though that road isn't going to be perfect. Our God is still good.

Whatever season you're walking through or whatever trial you're carrying today, I pray you're reminded that we have a good Father who provides and keeps every promise He makes. May you find the strength to keep believing, even in the waiting, and rest in knowing He's working on your behalf. What are you believing in God for today?

Happy Wednesday from Dogwood šŸ¤
This week, I wanted to share a bit on who God says we are through Psalm 139:14
"I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
Each of us were created intentionally, uniquely, and with purpose. What a beautiful reminder to be grateful for the way God made us! May we know that full well! Letā€™s remind each other of that today.
