We have many thousands of used books, with new arrivals every day: fiction/non-fiction, children, YA, western, sci-fi/fantasy, mystery/suspense, action, classics, romance, & more. Most of our paperbacks sell for $2-$7. We do have a lot of bargain items priced $.25-$1.
~Hardcovers, older/larger/more valuable paperbacks, and other materials are priced with colored stickers. Most of our hardcovers s
ell for $4-$10.
~We don't buy or trade books. Books you bring in (most paperbacks, some hardcovers, other items we can use) give you store credit that can be used up as a 25% discount on future paperback purchases. Audio books brought in will give you a 25% discount on audio book purchases.
~Selling prices, and value for store credit, may vary according to the age, condition, and popularity of the book, as well as to how many we already have in stock. At our discretion we will occasionally give store credit on certain rare or desirable hardcovers or other materials, but it can still only be used as discount towards paperback purchases.
~How the store credit is used: If you have store credit and wish to purchase, for example, a $7.99 list price paperback, we will first deduct the normal 50% discount making it $4. Then we will give you an additional 25% discount ($1) which will be deducted from your store credit, so the book will cost you $3 in cash.
~We also gratefully accept donations of other materials such as videos, certain magazines, or less popular hardcovers, at our discretion (though you probably won't receive store credit for them). We may donate items we can't use to a charitable organization, and will decline or discard anything that is severely damaged/dirty/moldy.
