Forgot the veil and had to wear the jacket; it was hot!

Our hives are coming out of winter really strong this year. We are going to have a few extra overwintered nucs available (5-7). Overwintered Nucs will come with a 2025 queen that was raised by us, from grafts from our best 2024 overwintered queens. Each nuc will be 5-frames of bees with at least 2 frames of brood, 1-2 frames of honey/pollen and up to one empty drawn frame. They will come in a plastic pro-nuc box and be ready for pickup around mid-April. Price will be $225 which includes a $25 refundable box fee. If you bring us the pro-nuc back we will return the $25. PM us if you would like to purchase some.

If everything goes well, we will have additional nucs available with our 2026 queens mid to late May.

Lots of pollen coming in. The girls are looking good, feeding a little syrup this weekend to help get them through the next few weeks.
