So. Very. Lucky.
This year has been full of the unexpected and I am pinching myself in disbelief that this is only my first year. Not only do I have friends like Chris Snellman who DESIGN A SWEATER in my name (y’all do you have any idea?!?) but then there’s other friends like Chelsea who are like “lemme just knit you that sweater” and now… oh yea, “HERES A MATCHING HAT!” 😭😭😭🥰🥰🥰 So yea. That happened. And now you’ll be seeing a Little Loopy hat throughout these upcoming seasons.

Thanks to the Lehigh Valley Fiber Festival , I am COMPLETELY sold out of Renaissance 🥰 One of the most fun (and stressful) parts of each fiber festival is the unpredictability of what color will be the “hot seller”. As I often say, color therapy is a real thing, and sometimes everyone is feeling the same vibe. Thank you for a fantastic weekend!!

⭐️ September Book Club Release ⭐️ Septembers book club pick is one of the most fantastic memoirs I have ever read. I knew within the first chapter that this would be a pick for Kayla’s Book Club. Gaelynn Lea is not only a talented musician, but fabulous writer with an important and poignant story to tell.

⭐️ It’s happening everyone! ⭐️ I’ve been working on something fabulous behind the scenes with Heather and now it’s time to bring it to the world. Never did I ever think that I would be writing a pattern, let alone a pattern that included sizes! Over the years enough of you inquired about and expressed desire for my Baltimore Capelet, this thing I had made on a whim which wasn’t really supposed to be anything. It was just a shop sample, but now it’s so much more than that! To see it now is absolutely crazy, and I’d love to see it on YOU! Would you join me in being a tester?!

Boston: A recap. From the storage units to touring the Northeast, we are leaving Boston with FIVE empty bags of yarn, an absolute record! Thank you Sara for organizing an absolutely fabulous Boston Fiber Festival with incredible merch and volunteers galore! And Bostonians and others visiting, thank you for your kindness and excitement in your purchases and makes. It’s truly and honor to talk and co-create with you. See you all next year ❤️🧶

New Yarn: 🧶 ⭐️ “Welcome To The Rock” will be making its debut at the Boston Fiber Festival this weekend. I’ve had several shows in my mental lineup of colorways to add, but this was the time for Come From Away to shine. This show is not a September 11th show, it’s a September 12th show, a humanity show, and one with a story that should receive as much attention as other musical classics.
Fun to step outside my comfort zone, honored to add this to the Little Loopy lineup ❤️
