Saturday Rose and I drove to Suzy’s Stash quilt shop in Richardton to attend Suzy’s 6th annual quilt show. What a fun day we had admiring all the beautiful quilts, having lunch, and of course buying fabric! And the bed turning was amazing—all the beautiful quilts and the stories about each of them. Your sisters and your friends are a hoot! Rose’s daughter Sarah and granddaughter Brooklyn had entered 4 of Rose’s quilts (Rose didn’t know!) and Rose won the Stash Choice award for her beautiful Troll Star quilt she had made for Brooklyn. So proud of you Rose! Thanks Suzy for a great day!

Val Braun will be teaching a patriotic table runner class on Friday July 10th starting at 1pm. The runner is 15”x 33”. You can buy a kit or you can use fabric of your choice. This would be a good one for all those scraps you have! When you call to register I will let you know how much fabric you need for the runner. Please pre-register for this class. I finished my Sacred Sisters quilt today. I love this quilt and it means a lot to me. Thank you Rose for the beautiful backing and for the dragonfly quilting on the long arm. It’s perfect! We have kits available for the quilt and also for the tote bag. Stop in and get your kit before they are gone!
