This week we had the opportunity to share pétanque with a great audience at the NRPA (National Recreation and Parks Association) Annual Conference in Atlanta, GA.
This was a great opportunity for us to provide a live experience for Parks and Recs decision makers across the country and show them how great this game is. We were able to share information about indoor and outdoor games, FPUSA, and how much our players would love to have dedicated courts in local parks!
To do this, we hauled in material and built a playable outdoor court as well as an indoor court - what better way to hook people on the game than to get them throwing boules?
