School is back in session and it is all about the kids! But Golden Rule Music School has fun for the adults as well. Starting September 15th, the Tuesday Night Adult Band will begin. This is your time to pick songs for the set list that we will perform at the Halloween Eve Showcase, October 30th. It is (4) 90min sessions with a performance at the end for $25. Starting September 16th, the Wednesday Night Blues Jam will start. This is a blues inspired jam session open to the public and free. Calm before the storm, literally! But the show must go on! Thanks to the teachers, parents, and students for sticking it out, helping move equipment out of the rain, and just being you. All your help and support means the world and keeps this musical train on the tracks! A big thank you to Patrick Beaver Memorial Library for hosting and John Russell for facilitating between the library and Golden Rule Music School.

Hope everyone is doing well and gearing up for the weekend. If you are looking for some fun at the theatre this weekend, our very own Ash Klutz, will be performing in "Side Show" at the Hickory Community Theatre. Tonight is opening night so go out and experience all their hard work and dedication!

As June is wrapping up and summer is in full swing. 4th of July is just around the corner. At Golden Rule Music School we have been playing summer themed songs and here is one of those, "Eye Of The Tiger". Performed by 3 students of various ages with Ash Klutz, Tyler Nelson, and myself Jamie Stephens. Happy 4th of July!

At Golden Rule Music School we offer saxophone, violin, trombone, vocals, guitar (Jazz, Classical, Rock, Pop, Blues, etc.), Bass (Electric, Acoustic, and Upright), Mandolin, Banjo, Piano (Jazz, Classical, Rock, Pop, Blues, etc.), and more.
Private lessons, summer camps, Intro To Music, band classes, and beginner group lessons are available
M-F 9am-8pm and Sat. 9am-3pm.

Looking for something to do this Saturday April 18th, Golden Rule Music School will be playing at Valley Hills Mall from 12pm-3pm. The entrance of JCPenny the students and faculty will be playing some of the repertoire we teach at the school. If you're curious what the school can offer come check us out!
