If you are in the RTP this weekend, find the time to make it over to the Wake Forest ComiCon on Saturday!

Dozens of comic book vendors on hand with walls of comics from the Golden Age to last week!!

I've been doing this show for three years now, and it's always one of my favorite places because the crowd is so comics oriented!!

I've got a new Silver Age DC collection, a full GI Joe Marvel run, and a ton of new arrivals making their first appearance.

He is wanted for theft of at least 20 wall books at my antique mall location. Please be on the lookout for any of the 20 books or so that were stolen in case they bring them to a shop to try to sell them.

It's a personal pet peeve of mine when you're at a convention and you see vendors starting to load up 2-3 hours before the show is over. Now granted some shows are over at 6:00 that should be over at 4:00 and I get that. But I always stick around till pretty much the last 30 minutes or so before I get started tearing things down and usually make some good sales.

But you've got to be a next level POS to try to pack up and leave early on a two-day show on the first day. And then make up lies about why you have to leave to the showrunners. But that kind of stuff gets around and eventually you don't get invited to those shows anymore. Says a lot about who you are as a person too.

Hey all! It's been a really busy summer and CBG is actively looking for a new collections! If you're downsizing, need cash for bills, cleaning out attics and basements, moving out all the leftover things from your kids rooms, whatever, if it's comic book related and you want to make some quick cash, you owe it to yourself to give me a call!

I'm always actively looking for comics from the 1940s to 1980s but will look at all collections. And I'm not a comic shop so I don't have the overhead, and usually I can offer more than shops so before you haul them over to a comic book store, give me a shout because I'll come to you and save your aching back!
