Hey, comic book enthusiasts, have I got some great news! Debuting at the Pop Culture Productions Pop Culture Expo this weekend in Wilmington NC - the first appearances of the Great Mobile 80's Comic Shop™!

What is the Great Mobile '80s Comic Shop™? Thought you'd never ask! So for you older fans, you may remember going into shops when you were a kid in the '80s and even the '90s and being able to go through dozens and dozens of boxes and there were full runs of your favorite series. But times change. Comic shops steadily added toys, games, cards, and all kinds of over things to remain afloat and successful. But that meant sacrificing a lot of space for actual back issues. Couple that with the arrival of CGC, variant covers, and key books becoming the center of the universe, and it just got really tough to find those filler books.

I hear from collectors at shows all the time that they can't find the books they're looking for because no one ever brings them to the show. Well, that is about to change.

Beginning here in Wilmington this weekend, and continuing at every show henceforth, I will be bringing every Marvel & DC series that was available & that I have issues of from the 60s all the way through the '80s! So if you're missing Iron Man 86, or Ragman 4, or Marvel's Greatest Comics 23, this is your lucky weekend. Bring those lists, you know the ones, on tiny little notebooks that you can't even read anymore, trashed pieces of paper you scribbled down issue numbers on for years, those binders with meticulous check marks beside every issue & all the pertinent information about each one. Because you're going to fill those runs out once and for all!

In addition I'll have a new Golden Age collection just picked up this weekend heavy on Looney Tunes, early Walt Disney books, New Funnies, Four Color, Little Lulu, and Golden Age romance and comedy. And as always, the Wall Of Horror™ will be on full display with pre-code horror galore, including beautiful Frank Frazetta, Lee Elias, Russ Heath and LB Cole covers.
